Our Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit for the Ford 9″ is engineered to enhance braking performance while maintaining the integrity of your original setup. This complete kit features brand new components—no salvaged parts—ensuring reliability and longevity. Tailored to work with all available Ford 9″ axles, this conversion requires no special axles or machining, making installation straightforward.

The conversion includes high-quality components such as 11 9/16″ vented rotors featuring a 5 x 5 1/2″ bolt pattern, which are specifically designed and not merely re-drilled. The zinc-plated caliper brackets allow for clockable positioning to ensure compatibility with various dual shock mounts. The kit’s design also supports both on-road and off-road demands.

In addition to the rotors and brackets, your kit will come equipped with the following:

– Calipers (available with or without parking brake feature)
– Spacer plates for correct alignment
– Brake hoses for connecting calipers to the hard line
– Mounting brackets for junction points
– Parking brake kit with caliper cable adapters

For those incorporating the parking brake, installation is facilitated through dedicated cable adapters to connect the existing parking brake cable to the new calipers.

To ensure proper fitment, users should identify whether the retaining bolts are 3/8″ or 1/2″. Remove the drum or rotor to check; if you need a 9/16 socket, it indicates 3/8″ bolts, while a 3/4 socket indicates 1/2″ bolts.
