The 5.5″ One Ton Extreme 4-Link Suspension is engineered for Bronco aficionados who want to elevate their vehicle’s off-road prowess. Designed to work seamlessly with James Duff’s extended radius arms, this kit is the ultimate solution for tackling the toughest terrains.

– Note: Welding is necessary if incorporating sway bar kit #5310

Installation Requirements:
– A 5.5″ suspension lift is mandatory
– Minimum body lift of 2″ to ensure clearance
– Compatible with five OEM 1-ton axle configurations
– Truss design facilitates safe upgrades past 37″ tires

The truss mounts directly over the axle’s differential cover, ensuring precise alignment before welding, while the frame brackets feature a one-piece, weld-on structure. For extended wheelbases, those brackets can be adjusted further back, though modifications to the rear cross member may be needed if extending beyond 2″.

This kit is constructed with high-quality materials:
– Lower links feature robust material identical to our extended radius arms
– Upper links made from 1.5″ .120w DOM tubing

Finish options include a powder coating in signature James Duff blue or Midnight metallic black, with all necessary hardware—left and right hand 1″ rod ends included for easy adjustments.

– Required mounting hardware

Installation is straightforward, with no body cutting required when a 2″ body lift is utilized. This system provides exceptional articulation suited for serious off-road conditions. Not advisable for street applications without a James Duff sway bar upgrade. Note that some exhaust modifications may be necessary, including adjustments to brake hose brackets or e-brake cables.

For those interested in a DIY approach, a 1-ton truss, frame mounts, and links are available separately. Please be aware that welding is required for that option.
