Description

For the Bronco owner that is swapping front axles, these wedges make it much easier. No need to cut up a good front axle just for parts. These wedges are designed to weld onto a 2-3/4″ O.D. tube, just like a factory Early Bronco Dana 44 but are easily modified to fit onto 3″ O.D. tubing found on high pinion Dana 44 and (Dana 60 will require grinding or using 5351-60 Spacers). Cast with all the correct configurations to fit the inside of a C-bushing exactly like the original.

Looking for a brand new set of weld-on C wedges? These are cast out of weldable steel to factory specs & fit axle tubes from 2.75″ to 3.25″ inches in diameter. These can also be ground or machined to work on larger axle tubes and we offer all the correct spacer kits required for HP Dana 44, Dana 60, and its big brother the SD60. Looking for all the other parts that go with these? Take a look at our brand new cast C-caps, C-bushings, hardware kits and radius arms as well.

Can’t wait to get these welded onto the F-250 d44 swap for my 78 F-150. Clean and consistent castings. Kudos to duff for carrying these reproductions

These are super useful axle wedges, well cast and great for stock 2.75″ axle tubes. The description does say it will work for 3″ tubes, and they will fit, but on a 3″ tube, it makes the radius arm bushing super tight inside the radius arm caps, which will will limit articulation and cause the bushings to squish out so the point that the bushing eventually cracked inside on mine. The solutions is simple, grind down the wedges to take about 1/8″ off the inside (before you weld them on!) to keep the overall size the same as a stock 2.75″ axle. Thanks Duff for carrying these!
