Product Description

Designed specifically for the first generation Ford AOD automatic transmission (1980-1987), this adapter fulfills the need for robust performance and reliable functionality. With a length of 6.00 inches and constructed from 356 T-6 heat treated aluminum alloy, this adapter not only ensures durability but also includes a provision to retain the original early Bronco mount, enhancing compatibility.

Notably, the kit includes a new main 88-93 shaft suitable for early transmission models, while a note for users is that the oiling system of the AOD was altered in 1988; therefore, for donor transmissions from 1988 or newer, please select part number PN 3515.
