Our original hoop shock mounts for 66-77 Broncos offer all the benefits of double shocks and increase front wheel travel to 9 1/2 inches with a stock radius arm! By removing the travel limiting factory shock tower we have created the ultimate setup for an all-around Bronco. Made of 1.5″ .120 wall tube, they work best with use our 70/30 eye-eye shocks for a minimum of bushing wear and a maximum of performance. The hoops bolt-on and utilize the same weld-on front lower mount as our #5101 double shock mounts.

Unlike our competitors who sell bare metal, ours come powder coated for long-lasting good looks, ready to install out of the box. Hoop is either bolt-on or weld-on installation. We recommend welding to the frame for additional strength. If your Bronco already has our #5101 double shock mounts, they can be bolted through the hoop and used as heavy-duty braces. Want maximum travel for rock crawling without a body lift? Add the optional 5201-2 Behind the Coil kit to mount two shocks behind the coil spring for more travel as the front mount is your limiting factor. Made of 1.5″ .120 wall tube, includes zinc plated hardware and instructions. Shocks sold separately.

Note: There are interference issues when pairing these with the hellwig front swaybar (#5311/5312) If you are wanting to run a swaybar please see the universal shock tower (#5233/5234).

Some ’76 Broncos will have a fitment issue with the hoops on the driver side. For some reason, the inner fender well on some of them is down lower and makes contact with our hoop. You will either need to install a body lift or massage the inner fender to make more room for the hoop.

If you are running an aftermarket frame these may not be a direct fit. This is confirmed on the Throttle Down Kustoms frame using their coil buckets.
