77 BRONCO FRAMES WILL REQUIRE THE SIDES OF THE FRAME TO BE TRIMMED WHEN MOUNTING THIS PRODUCT TO THE REAR OF THE BRONCO.

This 2″ receiver is a Class II hitch, 3500 lb. capacity, 300 lb. tongue weight. The proven design we’ve been selling for 20 years slips into the ends of the frame, mounts using original bolt holes, NO drilling required. We recently added a 3rd mounting point to the brackets on this product. The additional mounting point on each bracket anchors this product more securely to the frame at the rear of the Bronco. Additional hardware included.
Our receiver hitch is designed to be used for the rear of the 66-77 Bronco but with modifications (trimming of the frame) can be used for the front too.
Fits 1966-77, 1976-77 require slight modification to the gas tank skid plate. Satin Black Powder Coated for longevity.
Note: This product will not work with any of our Plate or Prerunner style bumpers. It is designed to be used with an OEM-style bumper.

Took me about an hour to install this hitch. Simple as taking the bumper off, and sliding the hitch between the frame rails, then putting the bumper back on! Uses existing holes so very simple to install. I have a 74 bronco and I had to cut about 2 inches off my gas tank skid plate to make the hitch fit. Other than that very install and very good looking and sturdy hitch. Couldn’t be happier!
