These struts aren’t like the other wimpy struts you’ll find. They are super heavy, and the mounts that go on the fender are crazy tough. Glad to trash the old cheapo struts and get something worthy of my Bronco!

Simply the best kit on the market. The longer hood bracket helps prevent the middle hood edge cracks which can occur even with the stock setup and worse with the tiny hood bracket kits. The only regret will be not doing it sooner. Install advice is measure twice then drill carefully.

Anything from duff is a awesome product. On this order I did receive a call letting me know that it was going to be delayed, do to parts in powder coat. I was surprised at the speed I did receive the order. Instructions are very understandable and products are easy to install.

These hood struts are the best upgrade I have made on the Bronco yet. Love that Duff’s design has the long support brackets for the hood to keep it from cracking. Definitely a better design than the other ones on the market! Took less than 20 minutes to install. Definitely recommend to my Bronco friends!!

I purchased the hood strut kit for my 74 bronco after bending my hood using the other guys product. When the hood strut kit arrived I new right away that it was not only a perfect design but also very easy to install. No more bent hoods for me. The CNC logo cutouts in the steel was icing on the cake. Well done

No doubt the best hood strut kit on the market for early broncos. Fairly easy install, great design and quality. They only recommendation for improvement is they need to include a bolt for the fender bracket instead of having to try and use the existing fastener. Other than that it’s a great product

Absolutely one of the best modifications I have done on my 1974 Ford Bronco. Had a small hairline crack developing causing the hood to flex. Once I removed the old hood struts and installed the Duff ones, the flexing was eliminated and the hood is very rigid. I would highly recommend this mod for any Early Bronco. Lastly, follow the directions and read twice – drill once.

This kit is awesome, I looked at many of them before settling on this one. The installation was pretty straight forward. I just centered the support with the two holes on the good at the stated distance from the edge and it was a perfect fit. I believe it is the best brace and mounting system out there.

After buying another set from another reputable company and folding my hood “like a taco” I ordered this set which has hood stiffners plus mounts more forward mounting on hood. Don’t waste your money on other brands !

Installed these on my 66. Look great and work great! I had tucked my radiator for clearance so the prop rod wasn’t an option. What I like about this is that it adds additional bracing to the hood. Install was straightforward but getting the nuts on through the access hole can be a challenge for people with sausage fingers.
