At this step, you will choose which radius arms you will be installing.

1. Choose stock arms if you plan to stay on the street and don't have an aggressive driving style. Make sure your stock arms are not unsafe as many are rusty, bent and the threads are worn down at both ends.

2. Choose extended arms if you want the softest ride and the most articulation. These also allow a tight turning radius with oversized tires and deep backspaced wheels.

3. Choose the stock-length T-Rex arms for improved handling and ride quality. They also do not disappoint off-road for 31 to 35" tires and are a factory bolt-in option

Important Notes:

If you are installing our extended long arms, then you will need to purchase our universal shock package offered in the following steps. Long arms are not compatible with the factory sway bar. If you have an NP203 full-time 4wd transfer case, then you will need to fabricate your own cross-member to be able to install our frame brackets.

Based on your arm selection below you'll be presented with either the hardware needed to install your factory radius arms or install the aftermarket T-Rex or Extended Travel Long arms offered by James Duff.

For most 78-79 Broncos with T-Rex or Long arms we recommend 4-Degree C-Bushings with the 6" of suspension lift this system provides. However you can opt to go to 7-Degree C-Bushings for improved Caster.

If you are running factory radius arms you will want 7-Degree C-Bushings.

We highly recommend you consider adding this to your purchase now. This anti-rear axle spring wrap device prevents damage and failure to your rear driveshaft and leaf springs. This is a must for anyone who has a heavy foot, running 300+ horsepower, has a manual transmission, and/or likes to go on and off-road with their Bronco. Customers have stated the Torque Tamer has also made their Broncos more stable off-road and smoothed out their take-offs and shifts.

Important: When installing the Torque tamer you must have your driveshaft angles dialed in with less than 2 degrees of difference in pinion to driveshaft angle. This typically will require pinion shims. You can also weld on HD leaf spring perches offered here.

Based on your arm selection you'll be presented the proper shocks below to use with this system.

Note: T-Rex arms or Long Arms require the use of our universal shock tower to install the correct length shocks for your application.

We highly recommend upgrading to our heavy duty steering system for the correct geometry.

You will need to select the proper knuckle mounting hardware for the steering linkage that comes with this system. If you are not sure which one you need or not sure if your Bronco's knuckles are stock or have been modified then you will need to verify that before choosing.

If you are looking for the strongest or off-road options for your setup then you will want to choose the 3/4" bolt or the F150/GM 1-ton mounting kit options. Both of these options may require drilling/reaming.

NOTE: We do not recommend a tie rod over application with Big Broncos as it will create issues with your steering geometry and cause bump steer.
