There are some differences throughout the years of the '66-'77 Bronco platform. Read below to understand those differences and choose the correct parts for you.

Late '77 Year model Broncos had a rear axle housing change which was referred to as a Centurion housing. This housing requires a different axle truss. You will be presented with this option based on your year model selection below. Note: Just because you have a 77 does not necessarily mean you have a centurion housing. Please fill out our tech inquiry form here and send us a pic of your rear axle if you are unsure what you have. We need to be able to see the center section of the housing to help you determine if it is centurion or banjo.

From '66 to '77.5 Ford equipped the Early Bronco with a Banjo Style 9" Rear Axle. Halfway through the production of the 1977's Ford changed to a centurion 9" axle for the last 6 months of production of the Early Bronco. It's important that you identify which axle you have to confirm which axle you have installed and will be using with this system as the truss for the extreme 4 link is built for each of these types of axles. We have found that customers have had the centurion axle swapped in, even in early-year model Broncos.

Note: If your Bronco has an aftermarket or a full-width axle that has been cut down/modified this system will not work for your application and you will need to reach out to us so that we can quote a system for your application. Also: Just because you have a 77 does not necessarily mean you have a centurion housing. We need to be able to see the center section of the housing to help you determine if it is centurion or banjo.

I did a lot of research before buying th3 3.5 inch system. Including using available four link calculators with estimated measurements based on 92 inch wheel base and 35 inch tires. For the cost and time savings this is almost a no brainer. After installing the system I ran the measurements again. A good anti squat of 73-75% for the multi purpose driving I do. After working out issues that were pre-existing on my Bronco (too much pos. camber not enough positive caster and way too much tie rod roll)not it now rides and performs better off and on road than it has since I purchased it almost 20 years ago. I’m very happy I bought this system.
