Looking for more suspension travel and articulation? Don’t mind doing a body lift? Then check our 5000-R system which will allow you to run an even longer shock package, giving you even more clearance on the trail.

Need something a little bit more mild for great street manners and good off-road capability? Check out our ultimate system with t-rex arms here.

Note: Some ’76 Broncos will have a fitment issue with the hoops on the driver side. For some reason, the inner fender well on some of them is down lower and makes contact with our hoop. You will either need to install a body lift or massage the inner fender to make more room for the hoop.

*Note: Shock boots are not included with this system.

FAQ:

Q: How do I know if I need heavy or medium-duty leaf springs?
A: Check out our FAQ page to learn more about which leaf springs are right for you.

Q: Is a body lift required for this system?
A:
No, 1″ is recommended for extra room for exhaust and other accessories. But it is not required for this system.

Q: Are the Hellwig swaybars compatible with this system?
A: No. There will be interference issues with the sway bar and the front of the hoop when articulating the front suspension. If you are wanting to run Hellwig sway bars we suggest you look at purchasing our Monster Suspension with Towers.

Q: Do I need new driveshafts?
A:
We always tell our customers that every Bronco is different. Some need them, others do not. If you feel your driveshafts may be too short or need to be replaced contact us. Looking to buy? Our front driveshaft is here, and our rear driveshaft is here.

Q: Should I replace my steering while I am installing my new lift system?
A: It is strongly recommended. Check out our heim steer systems or our wildly popular bumpsteer eliminator kit.

Q: Do I need pinion shims with this lift?
A:
Most likely, check out our pinion shims here.

Q: Do I need to move my rear axle back when I lift my Bronco?
A: Bronco’s with rear cut fenders don’t typically need this but if you are uncut you might. Check out our spring perches here that allow you to move your axle back as well as give you an option to lift it up another inch if needed.

Q: Do you offer a heavy-duty U-Bolt Option for this lift system?
A: Yes, this system comes standard with our 1/2″ u-bolt. If you regularly see the trail we highly suggest upgrading to our 9/16″ u-bolts #5926. You can use the dropdowns to upgrade to this option. We do not recommend using a 5/8″ u-bolt or u-bolt plate machined out of solid 1″ or thicker billet steel. These have proven to break leaf springs and axle tubes. It is simply too much bolt.

Q: Will this system work with long tube headers?
A: The James Duff Long arms provided in this lift system will only work with James Duff Long Tube headers produced after 2002. If you have any other long tube headers other than these BE ADVISED that you may have a clearance issue with the arm.
