66-77 Bronco 1.5″ Ultimate LUBR Suspension System

Before Purchasing:

This system is only compatible with the factory pitman arm.

This suspension system will not require a drop pitman arm or drop track bar bracket.

This suspension system will not work with any TRO - Tie Rod Over steering setups. TRU - Tie Rod Under the knuckle only.

The leaf springs included in this system are designed for Broncos with close to equal weight front to rear. If you have a half cab or roadster it’s likely that the rear of your Bronco will sit a little high due to being lighter in the rear. If you are installing this system on a well-equipped Bronco with most of these aftermarket additions – Plate bumper, 20-gallon+ fuel tank, HD tire carrier w/ 33″ or bigger tire, hardtop, tools/gear, back seat. You may find that you need to install our add a leaf, 1/2″ lift blocks (5539) or pinion shims after your suspension has settled in.

Disclaimer: This add a leaf will not make your Bronco ride stiffer and it is only designed for our new 1.5″ leaf spring.

Q: What tire sizes can I fit with this lift?
A: This lift can fit stock to 31.5" tires. It all depends on what you want. We can give you the best advice on lift and tire size here in our main FAQ.

Q: How difficult of trails can this 1.5" Performance Package handle?
A: With the correct body lift and cut fenders, a Bronco with 33" to 35" tires with this Performance package can do medium level trails and depending on the driver's experience level, some harder trails too.

Q: Can I install this in my driveway or garage?
A: Yes, but it will require, several tools, a degree of mechanical knowledge, welding, and an alignment. Consider this a challenging erector set that will take several days to install Monster Mike at the Bronco Garage rates this install at a 5 out of 10

Q: What degree C bushings are recommended? 
A: Stock Arms and No Power Steering - 2° C-Bushing
     T-Rex Arms with Power Steering - 4° C-Bushings
     Stock Arms with Power Steering - 7° C-Bushings

T-Rex Arms and No Power Steering - We do not recommend this combination

Q: Can I mount the steering system over the knuckle?
A: For the 1.5" system we do not recommend mounting the steering in a TRO configuration. 

Q: Do I need to purchase driveshafts?
A: For this system, with minimal lift, most likely your factory driveshafts will work fine. We highly recommend that you have them inspected and serviced if required.

Q: Can I use my stock sway bars with this lift?
A: No you can't. You will need to run the ones shown with this lift if you need them.

Q: Can I purchase Extended radius arms instead of T-rex arms with this system?
A: No. We recommend you do not buy this system if you want something different. You can create your own lift system using the parts we sell if you would like something different than what is offered here.

Q: Can I purchase longer shocks and shock mounts with this system?
A: No. We recommend you do not buy this system if you want something different. You can create your own lift system using the parts we sell if you would like something different than what is offered here.

Q: Can I get this lift in a different color?
A: This system is offered in Duff's signature blue powder coat or Midnight Series Metallic Black powder coat. 

Q: What are the specs on the Hucks's tire sizes?
A: Huck features a 33"x12.50" Mickey Thompson Baja Claw as pictured.

Q: What shock mounts does this system include and do they require any welding?
A:  This system includes our 0-1" long travel front mounts and our classic rear mounts for more shock travel. You will be removing the factory shock mounts that came with your Bronco and you can bolt or weld the front mounts and the rear mounts are weld on only.

Accessories and add-ons may require you to do a little more research on what your Bronco already has and what may or may not have already been done to it. After 50+ years of being on the road, the Bronco could have had several different parts added and removed on it.
